
I am a Board-certified Paediatric Surgeon and a diligent reliable, and hardworking professional. I have always shown special interest towards the area of Paediatric Urology and have engaged extensively during my training in Sri Lanka and United Kingdom.
I gained my basic medical qualifications and post-graduate medical qualifications in Sri Lanka between 2004 and 2016. I was also able to gain Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology experience as a trainee during my stay in Manchester, UK, for the period 2014/15.
Since 2017, I have been working as a Locum Consultant Paediatric Urologist at the Manchester Children’s Hospital. In 2017, I obtained a diploma in leadership and management as well as a fellowship in European Paediatric Urology in 2020.
I am an active member of the APLS Group of the Sri Lanka/Australia Chapter and a fully-fledged APLS instructor since 2018.
My main areas of interests are working on children with spina bifida and urinary stones other than general Paediatric Urology.
