Louise is a consultant midwife at Chelsea & Westminster and West Middlesex hospitals in London.

Her remit covers complex pregnancies and high risk intrapartum care and she is the Trust midwifery lead for mental health.

Louise previously spent several years as a PMH specialist midwife and developed a particular interest and experience in trauma-informed care.

Louise has co-chaired the North West London PMH Clinical Network since 2018.

 As a consultant midwife, she has sat on national expert reference groups including the Maternal Mental Health Services and i-Decide, and is the RCM representative on the RCOG Clinical Quality Assurance Group.

Louise is also a trainer for the RCOG and the Make Birth Better organisation on trauma and perinatal mental health.
