Kirstien delivers training on mental wellbeing, communication, and resilience that supports health professionals to provide compassionate care while sustaining their own wellbeing.
A mental wellbeing and resilience educator, registered counsellor, and experienced transformative coach, she holds a doctorate in organisational psychology and has been delivering courses with Baby Lifeline since 2016.
As founder and director of Field of Possibility, Kirstien works with organisations, teams, and individuals to deepen understanding of how the mind shapes experience. This insight enables people to navigate professional and personal challenges with greater clarity, ease, and confidence, and to access more of their innate potential.
Grounded in over a decade of frontline experience in emergency response and Sure Start programmes, her training draws on both her own and others’ professional and lived experiences to illuminate how a clearer understanding of our psychological “operating system” allows us to access the inner guidance that is always available.
Kirstien is passionate about supporting frontline professionals to sustain compassionate, high-quality care while protecting their own wellbeing and reducing the risks of burnout, vicarious trauma, and moral injury.
