Keith Bromwich

Senior Lecturer Paramedic Science, Clinical Skills and Simulation, Buckinghamshire New University

Keith has 27 years’ experience as an adult and paediatric nurse. He is also an active HCPC registered paramedic. As such, he has extensive NHS experience in both the hospital and pre-hospital environment.

In his current position, Keith is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science in Clinical Skills and Simulation at Buckinghamshire New University in High Wycombe with a keen interest in the field of paramedic education. This extends to simulation practice, reducing student stresses and enhancing the student experience in the OSCE situation. Keith also has experience of organising practice placements for paramedics and the redesign of a practice assessment document to incorporate a stronger emphasis upon reflective practice into the assessment strategy. Keith is currently studying for a MSC in Health Simulation and Education at Coventry University.

Keith has been awarded Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has undertaken external examiner roles for Lincoln University Paramedic Science program.

Since 2014, Keith has been actively involved in the development and delivery of our highly popular Childbirth Emergencies in the Community course. Keith was the first paramedic to facilitate on Childbirth Emergencies in the Community and has been instrumental in developing and teaching its content from this multi-professional perspective.
