
Hannah is a Sheffield-based midwife who trained and worked at the Jessop Wing. She has worked clinically in the humanitarian sector for Médecins Sans Frontières and for the British Pregnancy Advisory Service as a research midwife practitioner. Now a senior lecturer in Midwifery at Sheffield Hallam University, Hannah’s professional interests lie in people’s experiences of autonomy, choice and consent within reproductive health services.
Hannah co-developed the Cultural Curiosity and Safety workshop for healthcare professionals to highlight and address the inequalities faced by black and brown families seeking care.
