AIMS & OBJECTIVES
- To understand the law on consent and how it applies to maternity care.
- To build confidence in consenting women and birthing people antenatally and in an emergency.
- To gain an understanding of trauma-informed consent.
- Learn how to support women and birthing people in decision-making.
- To build confidence in how to effectively consent refugee, asylum seeking, and undocumented migrant women and birthing people.
