Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Leicester since 2005. Special interest in high risk maternal medicine and Fetal medicine. Lead Clinician for Perinatal Mental Health and Renal problems in pregnancy including transplant patients. Former Perinatal Risk Group Lead, RCOG College Tutor and Deputy Head of Service. Currently the Foundation training Programme Director for University Hospitals of Leicester. RCOG AAC Representative. Human Factors trainer.

Special interest in education with focus on promoting safety in maternity. Director mMOET (managing medical and obstetric emergencies and Trauma) course, Instructor on BPS (basic practical skills) course and East Midlands Obstetric Scanning Course. Examiner at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist for Membership exam part 3 and at Medical School Leicester. Lead for Foundation Programme teaching and Curriculum Champion.

Lecture by invitation at Medical school, Primary care study days, MSc Endocrinology Leicester University, Postgraduate Training Programme. Set up PROMPT style MOT (multidisciplinary obstetric training) and Human factors training at University Hospitals of Leicester. Special interest in supporting simulation at medical school, Foundation Programme and in Obstetric Skills and Drills.
